A postcode and the words “one wardrobe” are a start, but they are not enough for an accurate quote. A two-door flat-pack wardrobe and a solid antique wardrobe may need completely different handling.
Send the basics
- Collection and delivery postcodes
- Clear photos of the item
- Approximate dimensions
- Floor at both addresses
- Lift availability and size
- Parking or loading restrictions
- Whether dismantling is needed
If the item is especially heavy, contains glass or cannot be tilted, mention it. Honest information allows the transporter to send enough people and the right protection. It also makes the price more reliable.
