Pack one box that does not go to the back of the van. Put in toilet roll, hand soap, bin bags, kitchen roll, a screwdriver, scissors, phone chargers, mugs, tea or coffee, pet food and basic cleaning spray.

Label it OPEN FIRST on every side. It is a small thing, but after a long moving day it may be the most useful box you own.
